Data Center Technician III — TS/SCI with Polygraph with Security Clearance

Position Overview LCS Defense is seeking cleared Data Center Technicians to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure operations in Aurora, Colorado. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot and resolve server hardware, fiber, networking, and related data center infrastructure issues. You will support equipment installation, maintenance, and decommissioning while helping maintain reliable operations in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair server hardware and related infrastructure. Support rack deployment, equipment installation, rack cabling, and decommissioning. Troubleshoot fiber connectivity and networking issues. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting to restore service. Support capacity planning and tracking. Take ownership of technical issues and coordinate with other teams to resolve them. Identify root causes, document findings, and report issues proactively. Support service-level commitments and recommend process improvements.

Follow established safety and security procedures. Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship. Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with the ability to maintain that clearance throughout the assignment. At least two years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience. High school diploma or equivalent, or an A+, Certified Network Defender (CND), Network+, or Security+ certification. Active Security+ certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of starting. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work onsite in Aurora, Colorado. Availability for shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of server hardware platforms. At least one year of computer networking experience. Understanding of computer architecture and the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or professional or military IT experience. Work Environment and Physical Requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, this role involves: Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Working in confined spaces and elevated locations. Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
