Job Title: Network Security Analyst II

Austin, TX | 100% Onsite
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT
Local Texas candidates only – No relocation candidates

We are looking for a Network Security Analyst II with strong hands-on experience in Security Operations, SIEM, threat detection, incident response, and threat hunting.

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity / Security Operations / Network Security

• Microsoft Sentinel – hands-on experience

• KQL (Kusto Query Language) – strong query-writing and investigation skills

• SIEM – security monitoring, log analysis, correlation, alert investigation & architecture

• Detection Engineering – developing and tuning detection rules, alerts & use cases

• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR & NDR

• Threat Intelligence and security event investigation

• Strong experience with security log collection and management

• Incident triage, investigation, escalation and response

• Strong understanding of network security, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS and network traffic analysis

Good Match / Preferred

• SPL / Splunk experience

• Advanced Threat Hunting

• Experience with endpoint investigation and advanced hunting

• Cloud security / Azure security experience

• Security automation and SOAR playbooks

• NIST / CIS / HIPAA knowledge

• Microsoft security certifications, Security+, CySA+, CISSP, GIAC, or similar
