In this role, you will be instrumental in leading large-scale technology modernization or digital transformation initiatives, particularly with SaaS vendors. Your expertise will guide our projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and SaaS vendors to establish governance structures, coordinate efforts, and drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale technology modernization or digital transformation projects, particularly with SaaS vendors.
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Coordinate between internal teams and SaaS vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
• Establish governance structures and processes for large-scale modernization initiatives.
• Oversee procurement planning and execution, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Leverage experience with cloud-based platforms, modular procurement strategies, and agile delivery approaches to drive project success.

Requirements

<>Required Skills

• PMP Certification is a must.
• Significant experience leading large-scale technology modernization or digital transformation initiatives with a SaaS vendor.
• Project Management experience of 15+ years.
• Procurement Planning experience of 10+ years.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with government program systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems to a SaaS platform.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based platforms, modular procurement strategies, and agile delivery approaches.
