an Operations Specialist, your role is to oversee and optimize day-to-day operational processes within an organization, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth workflow across various departments.

This Operations Spec. resource will provide pricing strategy support services to the Firm Strategy organisation and assist with the execution of pricing-related initiatives, projects, enhancements, and process improvement efforts.
The individual will collaborate with branch teams and key stakeholders to support the implementation of pricing initiatives, including pricing exception activities, pricing test-and-learn programs, market tests, and other pricing-related changes. The resource will leverage pricing expertise, analytical skills, and industry knowledge to support business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the execution of pricing-related projects, enhancements, process improvement efforts, test-and-learn initiatives, market tests, and implementation of pricing solutions.
  • Partner with branch teams and stakeholders, including Firm Analytics, WMAS, Operations, and other business groups, to gather requirements, analyze information, and support pricing initiatives.
  • Support adherence to established risk controls, policies, and procedures by documenting actions, tracking issues, and maintaining appropriate records associated with assigned initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations related to pricing initiatives, processes, and operational activities.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding pricing-related initiatives, processes, and activities by researching issues, providing information, and facilitating resolution as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of pricing-related processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Analyze data and business requirements to support decision-making and implementation activities related to pricing strategies.
  • Participate in project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to support successful delivery of pricing initiatives.

The consultant supports the Firm Strategy organization's pricing operations—reviewing and processing pricing exception requests from branch teams, validating them against pricing guidelines, and supporting broader pricing initiatives. 

A typical day includes:

  • Reviewing and prioritizing pricing exception cases from Salesforce and shared team queues
  • Researching account information and validating eligibility for family pricing structures and related pricing programs
  • Communicating with branch teams to clarify requests, answer questions, and gather required documentation
  • Managing multiple open cases simultaneously against a significant backlog
  • Collaborating with pricing strategists and business partners on complex/edge cases
  • Documenting decisions and outcomes per established procedures
  • Joining team discussions on process improvements and workload management

Ideal candidate profile
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with heavy caseloads. Strong judgment and analytical skills, a continuous-improvement mindset, a professional communicator, adaptable to non-routine/ambiguous situations, and able to work well within a high-performing team.

Training—2 weeks 
Tools: MS Office (must) and Salesforce prefered
