Senior Architect

Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Senior Architect to support and enhance the organization's PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. This position requires extensive expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), along with strong functional and technical skills supporting enterprise financial systems. The selected consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to support configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and production support activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, with emphasis on General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK).
• Support and analyze cross-module integrations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense.
• Create and enter budget journals and general ledger journals and support the complete journal lifecycle.
• Configure and support Business Units, Combo Edits, ChartFields, Trees, and related PeopleSoft structures.
• Support PeopleSoft integrations with external applications and enterprise systems.
• Work with PeopleSoft Application Engine processes and related batch functionality.
• Utilize Application Designer for analysis and support activities.
• Use PS Query for reporting, research, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze PeopleSoft tables and system structures to support business and technical needs.
• Provide production support including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.
• Perform lifecycle testing activities including vouchering, purchasing, general ledger journal posting, and accounts receivable processing.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, validate business processes, manage test sequencing, and support end-to-end testing activities.
• Prepare enhancement documentation including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration recommendations, table identification, code impact analysis, test conditions, business risks, and alternative solutions.
• Participate in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts.
• Support on-call activities and production support requirements as needed.

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), including deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense required.
• Experience analyzing PeopleCode, Application Engine (AE) programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, and retrofitting needs required.
• Proficiency with PeopleTools, Integration Broker, web services, and REST and SOAP API integrations required.
• Experience creating and entering Budget and General Ledger journals and supporting the journal lifecycle required.
• Experience configuring Business Units, Combo Edits, ChartFields, Trees, and related PeopleSoft configuration components required.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft architectures integrated with external applications required.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft Application Engine required.
• Proficiency using Application Designer required.
• Proficiency with PS Query required.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft tables and system structures for research and analysis required.
• Experience with production support, including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management required.
• Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience required, including vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, accounts receivable processing, test sequencing, data staging, and end-to-end business process validation.
• Experience writing enhancement documentation including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration documentation, table identification, code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options required.
• Project management experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs required.
• Must be available for 24x7 on-call support required.
• Experience supporting a large government enterprise solution highly desired.
