Job Description
About Pure Insight
Pure Insight supports young people leaving children's homes and foster care (care leavers) aged 14-28. We provide a wraparound offer that helps young people take control of their lives, feel connected, and develop a strong sense of belonging in their communities.
Over the past 10 years, we have grown across Greater Manchester, delivering services in Stockport, Salford, Cheshire East, Halton, and Warrington. We are proud to deliver nationally recognised best-practice programmes for young care leavers, with exciting plans to expand into new local authority areas in the coming year.
The Role
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Employment Coach to join our team splitting their time (50/50) between Salford and Stockport.
This role focuses on supporting care-experienced young people to secure paid employment within agreed timescales. You will do this through profiling, job matching, employer engagement, training, monitoring progress, and using effective sales and relationship-building techniques.
You will also:
Support young people to access education, training, and volunteering opportunities
Proactively source opportunities through external providers and schemes
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
Identify and address barriers to employment, education or training, either directly or through referrals to partner agencies
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external organisations to help young people progress into EET (Education, Employment or Training)
This is an outreach-based role, so flexibility and the ability to travel around Salford and Stockport is essential.
What We Offer
A friendly, fun and supportive working environment
Flexible working options
Extensive learning and professional development opportunities
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
An extra day of annual leave for your birthday
Option to join our Medicash healthcare scheme
Why Join Us?
At Pure Insight, you'll be part of an organisation that truly believes in the potential of care-experienced young people. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while being supported to grow and develop in your own career.
