Plumbing Designer - Hybrid

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Plumbing Designer for a Hybrid position with a Global Engineering Firm located in Cincinnati, OH. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves producing detailed plumbing designs for industrial and pharmaceutical construction projects. The ideal candidate will utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create models for domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent, and storm water systems, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

• Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines
• Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings

Requirements:

• 10 years of practical application experience of plumbing design (reduces to 5 years with an Associate's Degree in a related technical discipline), including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

Pay range: up to $45.00 per hour
