NDT Level III | Brownsville, OR, United States | Hybrid
We're hiring on behalf of a world-class supplier of titanium castings and components, particularly for the aerospace industry. This established organization is poised for substantial growth and offers opportunities for advancement, known for its commitment to quality and innovation in high-engineered products.
The Role
- Administer and maintain the NDT/X-Ray qualification program for NDT personnel.
- Perform non-destructive inspections on components according to customer specifications and blueprints.
- Evaluate and interpret casting quality to meet company and customer standards.
- Provide or direct training, examination, and certification for NDT personnel.
- Oversee NDT inspectors, ensuring quality assurance and safety procedures are met.
- Record, organize, and evaluate test results, generating comprehensive NDT and QA reports.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in NDT as a Level 2, or equivalent combination of experience and education (e.g., 2 years with a 2-year degree, 1 year with a 4-year degree in Science or Engineering).
- Previous NAS 410 Level III certification in RT or PT is preferred.
- Ability to perform visual, liquid penetrant, and X-ray (film, CR, DDA) inspections.
- Capability to assume technical responsibility for NDT operations and personnel.
- Strong understanding of NDT methods and techniques for specific inspections.
