Embedded Software Engineer - (Avionics Electrical)

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support aircraft modifications, alterations, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering activities. This role combines embedded software development, electrical engineering support, aircraft data analysis, diagnostic tool development, and engineering solutions for aircraft systems.

The engineer will work on advanced aircraft troubleshooting, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and development of solutions that improve aircraft performance and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support aircraft modification and alteration projects through electrical design and embedded software engineering activities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance aircraft data management and diagnostic tools.
• Create and maintain aircraft configuration data (CMF) and related engineering data.
• Perform advanced aircraft troubleshooting using aircraft data analysis and detailed system knowledge.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCCA) for aircraft system and component failures.
• Analyze aircraft data to identify system issues, performance trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software solutions supporting aircraft engineering functions.
• Support software and aircraft system upgrade initiatives based on engineering analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in embedded software, avionics, electrical systems, or related engineering fields.
• Strong programming, software development, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Technical Skills

• C/C++ programming.
• Embedded systems and firmware development.
• Avionics and aircraft systems.
• Linux environment.
• MATLAB or similar engineering tools.
• Aircraft diagnostic and test tool development.
• Aircraft data analysis and processing.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with aircraft modifications, sustaining engineering, and supplier coordination is preferred.
