Location: Ealing, West London
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join their thriving PE department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of physical activity and healthy living in young people, and to contribute to their overall well-being and personal development.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience.
- Foster a love of sports and physical activity in students, encouraging them to develop their skills, fitness, and teamwork abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported, regardless of their ability level.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a broad and balanced PE curriculum that caters to a range of interests and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their physical and personal development.
- Contribute to extra-curricular sporting activities and school teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Physical Education.
- A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in PE.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- A passion for sports and physical education and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles in young people.
