The Role

We are looking for a driven, outbound-focused Sales Development Representative to build a pipeline for the India market. You will be the first point of contact for mid-market and enterprise prospects, opening conversations with Director-level and above stakeholders, including CXOs, and booking qualified meetings for the India Account Executives.

This is a hands-on prospecting role. You will research accounts within the defined TAM, reaching decision-makers through calls, email and LinkedIn, and converting interest into sales-qualified meetings.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect into SMB, mid-market and enterprise accounts in India as per the defined TAM and ICP.

• Run multichannel outbound: direct cold calling, personalised emails and LinkedIn outreach.

• Engage Directors, VPs and CXOs (CPO, CMO, CDO, CGO, Head of Product, Head of Growth, etc.) and articulate relevant value in brief conversations.

• Qualify prospects on need, authority, budget and timing, and book discovery meetings for the AE.

• Use Apollo, Lusha and similar tools to build targeted lists, find verified contacts and run sequences.

• Log all activity and lead status accurately in the CRM.

• Test and refine scripts, email copy and LinkedIn messaging based on response data.

Must have

• 1-3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or outbound sales role selling to companies in India.

• Experience prospecting into SMB, mid-market and enterprise accounts pitching SaaS platforms.

• Comfortable cold calling and holding credible conversations with Director-level and CXO stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with calling, personalized email and LinkedIn outreach.

• Working knowledge of Apollo, Lusha, Sales Navigator or similar tools, and a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Strong research skills and the ability to personalise outreach at scale.
