QA Automation Engineer

Join an innovative quality engineering team supporting large-scale cloud applications in the financial domain. In this hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ, you will drive test automation strategies, build API test suites, and validate complex microservices and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) components.

responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber frameworks.
• Develop automated API tests using REST Assured and Postman to validate microservices architectures.
• Perform backend data validation and verification across Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery and Cloud Storage, using SQL.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD build pipelines using Git and Jenkins within an Agile delivery setup.

qualifications:

5+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java, TestNG, or Cucumber.

3+ years of experience in API testing using REST Assured and Postman.

Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, GKE) and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC processes, Agile methodologies, and basic SQL data validation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience within American Express (AMEX) or financial service environments.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation tools like Jenkins.

Strong background in performance testing or cloud-native continuous integration testing.
