Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

TSC is seeking a Systems Enginee r , in King George, VA This position supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division . Responsibilities: The position will focus leading current and future radar system design and production. The position will support technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: * Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
* Experienced in formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.
* Perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
* RADAR systems integration and Test position in the SPY 6 program. * Established testing experience both pre and post production and understands the connected working of a shipboard RADAR system. * Specifically the operations of phased array RADARs in a shipboard environment as well as the interfaces and inner working of RADAR systems and how the RADAR interfaces with the AEGIS weapons system.
* A minimum of 8 years industry and/or DoD experience
* Familiarization with the Dual Band Radar (DBR) systems
