Senior Process Automation Engineer | Ellsworth, WI, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Design, develop, test, and commission industrial process automation systems.
  • Act as a technical lead on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposals.
  • Create detailed functional descriptions and design automation software.
  • Coordinate with electrical designers and procure automation/electrical equipment.
  • Commission systems at customer sites and provide on-site troubleshooting support.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Typically, 5+ years of experience in a similar automation engineering role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and preferred experience with Rockwell Automation hardware/software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
