Job Description
Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Functional Lead
Introduction
We are seeking a strong Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Functional Lead to provide leadership and direction for a key client currently operating two manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding the client's Oracle program, partnering with business teams, technical resources, and Client Managed Services to drive accountability, improve adoption, and lead future initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional leader and trusted advisor for the client's Oracle ERP Financials program.
- Partner with business leaders and process owners across the client's two manufacturing plants.
- Establish clear priorities, ownership, governance, and accountability across the Oracle program.
- Translate business needs into a clear functional roadmap and actionable delivery plan.
- Provide functional direction for Oracle ERP Financials issues, enhancements, configurations, and process improvements.
- Drive user adoption, organizational change, process consistency, and continuous improvement.
- Lead governance meetings and communicate priorities, progress, risks, and decisions to client leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting, efficiency, and the overall value of the Oracle platform.
- Prepare the client to transition into Client's standard Managed Services delivery model following the initial engagement.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP Financials.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence business and technology stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading Oracle initiatives and advising senior client leaders.
- Ability to establish structure, accountability, and direction in a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
- Experience translating business priorities into functional requirements and delivery plans.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation, stabilization, transformation, or Managed Services engagements.
- Ability to work onsite in Fairfield, Ohio, two to three days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP Financials in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working across multiple plants, business units, or operating locations.
- Background in business transformation, change management, and user adoption.
- Previous experience as an Oracle Functional Lead, Functional Architect, Program Lead, or Client Success leader.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and their business impact.
- Experience guiding clients from implementation or stabilization into a long-term Managed Services model.
