Oracle Essbase Developer

A professional services firm in Jersey City New Jersey is seeking a new Oracle EPM Developer to support a critical Oracle EPM transformation initiative. The selected consultant will join an active project team to complete the migration from a legacy Essbase environment to Oracle EPM FreeForm.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Complete the build and configuration of Oracle EPM FreeForm cubes

  
  


• 
  

  Enhance and finalize dimensional structures and metadata based on completed design documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and support integrations between Oracle EPM and source systems

  
  


• 
  

  Execute migration of historical Essbase data into the FreeForm environment

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze, document, and implement Essbase security requirements within Oracle EPM

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in testing, validation, and performance optimization activities

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure financial reporting and planning requirements are met

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for best practices throughout the migration effort

  
  


• 
  

  Support knowledge transfer and documentation activities as needed

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  5+ years of Oracle EPM/Essbase development experience

  
  


• 
  

  Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FreeForm Planning

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise in Essbase cube development, administration, and optimization

  
  


• 
  

  Experience migrating applications or data from Essbase to Oracle Cloud EPM solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Experience developing and supporting Oracle EPM integrations

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of multidimensional database concepts, dimensions, hierarchies, and metadata management

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with security design, role-based access controls, and Essbase security analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• 
  

  Experience in the Financial Services industry experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) environments

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM Platform components.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of data migration and reconciliation methodologies

  Experience with EPM Automate, Data Management, Data Integration, or related Oracle EPM tools
