We're looking for a hands-on Edge Engineer to join an innovative team developing field-deployed technology that combines edge computing, networking and sensor integration. You'll help build intelligent mesh networks capable of transmitting data from remote and challenging environments.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and deploying edge computing and networking solutions
• Developing mesh networking capabilities and resilient communications systems
• Working with Linux-based devices and writing code to support integrations
• Integrating sensors, cameras and communications hardware
• Hands-on engineering including cabling, soldering and hardware setup
• Participating in regular innovation and hackathon projects

What we're looking for

• Strong networking, systems integration or edge computing experience
• Comfortable working with Linux and coding/scripting
• Practical, hands-on engineering mindset
• Experience leading technical work or mentoring others
• Mesh networking experience highly desirable
• Experience with drone video, video transmission, broadcast technology or real-time media streaming would be highly advantageous

Ideal backgrounds

• Network or Software Engineers within telecoms, radio or communications technology
• Drone, UAV or video transmission engineers
• Broadcast and media technology professionals (e.g. live events, sports,etc)
• Systems Integration Engineers, Technical Leads or Senior Engineers
