About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. This is a home-based role with occasional travel within the UK and Europe.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of UK employment law and previous experience working within the construction industry. You will be responsible for managing HR processes, preparing employment contracts, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue employment contracts.
• Manage workers transitioning from CIS to PAYE.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Liaise with payroll regarding starters, leavers, and contractual changes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
• Previous HR experience within the construction industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience preparing employment contracts and managing HR documentation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluent in both Romanian and English (spoken and written).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe.
