The opportunity at Beam

We’re looking for Senior Engineering Managers to drive forward our growing department. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a full-time manager of 6-10 engineers across a portfolio of initiatives and products. You will have autonomy within this domain to organise and staff the work across its various needs. We operate with small, AI-powered engineering teams that often deliver large pieces of work in groups of just two.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience building high-performing teams

• At least 3 years of team and line management experience

• A product mindset, passionate about building the right thing

• Genuine excitement about the power of AI and how it will shape our profession

• A leader who takes pride in achieving great things through the people they support

Compensation:
£140,000 - £170,000 base salary depending on experience and performance during interviews + equity and amazing benefits (see our careers page)

1. 30 minute intro with our Talent team

2. 30 minute Interview with our VP of Engineering

3. 1 hour systems design interview with two of our Senior Engineers

4. 1 hour leadership interview with our People Manager

5. 30 minute product and cultural interview with one of our founders
