About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Banking to support security operations and protect banking applications, financial systems, and sensitive customer data. This role focuses on monitoring cyber threats, detecting vulnerabilities, and ensuring the security of banking infrastructure and digital transactions. You will collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to support regulatory requirements and maintain a strong security posture. Ideal for early-career cyber security professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and respond to cyber security incidents

• Analyze security logs to detect suspicious activities and potential threats

• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts

• Assist in securing banking applications, networks, and financial systems

• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures

• Support security audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities

• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and compliance teams

• Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and technical procedures

Required Qualifications

• 2 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role

• Basic understanding of network security and cyber security fundamentals

• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

• Understanding of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response

• Exposure to AWS or cloud security concepts

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities
