Senior API Java Python Developer

Vantor is seeking a Senior API/Java/Python Developer to design and build secure, scalable backend services and integrations for modern web and data driven solutions. You'll architect and implement RESTful APIs, develop microservices in Java and Python, and integrate with cloud platforms and third party systems. Working in agile squads, you'll partner closely with clients, product owners, and front end teams to refine requirements and deliver incremental value. You'll champion code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance tuning while mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative, low ego engineering culture focused on learning and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services in Java and Python
• Integrate APIs with cloud platforms, data sources, and third party systems
• Write clean, testable, well documented code following modern engineering practices
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and front end teams to define solutions
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring for services
• Optimize performance, reliability, and resiliency of distributed systems
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team
• Work directly with clients in an agile environment to refine requirements and deliver increments
