This position requires balancing project schedules, identifying milestones, flagging risks, and clearly communicating priorities and progress across multiple departments. The role demands on-site collaboration at least three days per week to ensure alignment across software, hardware, and vehicle engineering divisions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate cybersecurity protocols into vehicle development processes.
  • Create, manage, and refine processes and tools to identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities in vehicle systems.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE WP29.
  • Analyze and report on deployed security tools and provide necessary information for the development of security products.
  • Model organizational values, set meeting agendas to eliminate bottlenecks, and help develop the next generation of program management specialists.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in engineering, program management, or management consulting, with a strong track record of managing complex, long-running, cross-functional projects.
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with software, hardware, or automotive development processes. Strong technical and analytical background in cybersecurity, including network security, cryptography, and secure software development. Experience identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and managing security lifecycle programs across vehicle architecture, telematics, or cloud domains.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience of 5 or more years managing cybersecurity programs specific to the automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity in connected vehicles, embedded systems, and automotive protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and V2X.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and engineers across functions without direct authority.
