What we are looking for:We are seeking a highly motivated IT Senior Project Manager with strong Dayforce (HCM) implementation experience to lead and deliver complex, multi-faceted projects across HR, payroll, and workforce management systems. This role requires a hands on leader who is not only capable of directing but also willing to roll up their sleeves and action tasks as needed.
Projects will primarily include Dayforce implementations, HRIS transformations, and related integrations, alongside broader infrastructure and application initiatives.
Responsibilities:- End to End Project Management: Oversee all phases of IT projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with HR, payroll, finance teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget & Resource Management: Ensure optimal allocation of resources and budget control across multiple projects.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to payroll regulations, HR compliance requirements, and IT governance frameworks.
- Change Management: Drive business and technical change initiatives, particularly across HR and payroll functions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT Project Management with hands on experience delivering Dayforce (HCM) implementations, HRIS, or payroll system projects.
- Dayforce Expertise: Proven experience in Dayforce modules such as Payroll, Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, and HR, including end to end implementation or major enhancements.
- Project Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud based HCM systems, APIs, and integration technologies.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross functional teams including HR, payroll, IT, and external vendors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex project issues.
- Experience managing Dayforce vendors/partners and implementation partners.
- Prior experience in multi country payroll or HR transformation projects.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
