Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting enterprise Wealth & Asset Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, and AWS cloud-native architectures and a proven ability to design, build, secure, and support scalable web applications and integrations.

Responsibilities: Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web applications. Build frontend applications using React or Angular with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Develop backend services and REST APIs using Java, Python, or Node.js. Design and implement service-to-service integrations and enterprise application integrations. Integrate applications with databases, Amazon S3, external APIs, and enterprise systems. Develop and support cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, ECS/Fargate, and RDS/PostgreSQL.

Implement authentication, authorization, validation, encryption, and secure coding practices, including OAuth/OIDC. Deliver capabilities for document upload, workflow execution, search, review, and reporting. Integrate applications with AI and data services as required. Develop unit and integration tests and support automated testing pipelines. Participate in code reviews and establish reusable development standards and patterns. Troubleshoot application performance, integration, and production issues. Collaborate with UX, product, architecture, QA, DevOps, data, AI, and cybersecurity teams.

Maintain application, API, and technical design documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years in full stack development, software engineering, or related roles. Strong experience with React or Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Java, Python, or Node.js. Hands-on development of REST APIs and enterprise integrations. Experience with AWS, Docker, ECS/Fargate, S3, and RDS/PostgreSQL. Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, secure coding practices, Git/GitHub, and automated testing. Background delivering and supporting scalable enterprise applications. Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments. Experience integrating applications with AI-enabled and data services.

Preferred Skills: Experience with workflow, document management, and reporting solutions. Familiarity with performance tuning and production support best practices. Why BCforward?
