Gen AI/ Backend Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a GenAI / Backend Software Engineer to help build and scale production Generative AI applications. This role focuses on backend services, APIs, and GenAI integrations, distinguishing it from a traditional Data Engineer position. The ideal candidate will have substantial software engineering experience and a strong background in developing production-quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Build and manage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Implement and optimize vector search and database solutions.
• Handle SQL-based data ingestion and processing tasks.
• Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines for production-quality development.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in the following areas is necessary:

• Python and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Backend services and API development.
• LLM/GenAI integrations.
• RAG pipelines and vector search/databases.
• SQL and data ingestion techniques.
• Git, CI/CD, and production-quality development practices.
