Progress OpenEdge 4GL HR & Payroll Programmer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Progress OpenEdge 4GL HR & Payroll Programmer in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance HR and Payroll applications built on Progress OpenEdge/Progress 4GL
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to HRIS and payroll processing
• Develop and modify programs using Progress 4GL tools
• Support applications running on Unicorn HRO's Geneva or iCON Tools Platform
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Ensure system updates are reliable, secure, and compliant with business needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands on experience with Progress OpenEdge/Progress 4GL (v11.4 or OpenEdge 2014)
• Prior experience as an HR/Payroll programmer
• Experience supporting HRIS and payroll systems
• Experience working with Unicorn HRO's Geneva or iCON Tools Platform
• Familiarity with Icon/Unicorn payroll and HR platforms (highly preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a contract/temporary engagement

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting payroll processing, tax calculations, or benefits integrations
• Experience supporting legacy or enterprise HR systems
• Prior work in regulated or compliance driven environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
