Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at Wood End Centre in Hayes. This locum role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive community setting, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to children across boroughs surrounding Hillingdon.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and intervention for children with communication and language needs
- Deliver therapy services across schools and community settings
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
- Travel between sites as required
Requirements
- HCPC registration (required)
- Car driver with access to a vehicle (essential due to travel requirements)
- Experience working in paediatric and educational settings (preferred)
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
