Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containerization, deployment automation, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using scripting.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.

• Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, availability, and performance.

• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.

• Manage source control, versioning, and release management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with Git and source control management.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security.

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.

Additional Requirements

• Must be available to work in McLean, VA.

• Must be comfortable with an in-person interview.

• Compensation: $45–$50/hour on W2.
