We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support the delivery of critical cloud infrastructure initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AWS specialist with strong cloud governance and Landing Zone experience to join a high-performing technology team.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build and support AWS cloud environments in line with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Implement and manage AWS Landing Zones to enable secure and scalable cloud adoption.
- Configure and maintain core AWS services including networking, security, IAM, monitoring and automation.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer within enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing AWS Landing Zones.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS networking, security, governance and identity management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and operational support.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer or similar).
- Experience working within large-scale transformation or cloud migration programs.
- Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and governance frameworks.
- Immediate start available.
- Contract duration of 3-6 months initially.
