We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support the delivery of critical cloud infrastructure initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AWS specialist with strong cloud governance and Landing Zone experience to join a high-performing technology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and support AWS cloud environments in line with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Implement and manage AWS Landing Zones to enable secure and scalable cloud adoption.
  • Configure and maintain core AWS services including networking, security, IAM, monitoring and automation.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance and operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer within enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing AWS Landing Zones.
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS networking, security, governance and identity management.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and operational support.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer or similar).
  • Experience working within large-scale transformation or cloud migration programs.
  • Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and governance frameworks.
