SAP Data Migration Project Manager

Position: SAP Data Migration Project Manager
Location: Remote with travel to NJ or FL
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager with strong experience managing SAP data migration projects and coordinating functional consultants across multiple SAP modules. The candidate will be responsible for planning, tracking, and delivering data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and successful migration into SAP.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end SAP data migration projects, including planning, execution, testing, validation, and go-live support.
• Coordinate and manage SAP functional consultants across FI-AA, FI/CO, PS, MM/FI-AP, and SD/FI-AR modules.
• Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Oversee data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Ensure accurate migration of master data, transactional data, and financial balances.
• Coordinate with business teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve data migration issues.
• Monitor data migration testing, defect resolution, and reconciliation activities.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of migration activities and successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager managing data migration projects.
• Experience coordinating and managing SAP functional consultants across multiple modules.
• Good understanding of the following SAP modules:
• SAP FI-AA: Fixed assets, asset master data, asset balances, and reconciliation.
• SAP FI/CO: General ledger, opening balances, cost centers, profit centers, and financial reconciliation.
• SAP PS: WBS structures, capital projects, and project master data.
• SAP MM / FI-AP: Vendor master, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and accounts payable.
• SAP SD / FI-AR: Customer master, sales orders, accounts receivable, credit master, and product master.
• Experience in data migration planning, mapping, validation, testing, and reconciliation.
• Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple consultants and ensure project deliverables are completed on time.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Familiarity with SAP migration tools and methodologies.
• Experience in legacy-to-SAP data migration and cutover planning.
