We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong SW background to support the development of automated Hardware-in-the-Loop test capability for mission-critical advance compact electronic systems. This role involves automated verification, system-level testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and performance. This is a fully onsite position at BAE System's Canal Street facility.

Responsibilities include:
  • Liaison with a partner organization to leverage an existing automated test environment
  • Configure and maintain test environments in the target facility
  • Work with Systems Engineers and Electronic Warfare SMEs to automate existing procedures and analysis
  • Perform verification and validation of software and hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering team to leverage new automated test environment into CI/CD pipelines
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math field, with 2+ years of experience
  • Active SECRET security clearance
  • Programming skills in C/C++ or Python or MATLAB.
  • Capable of learning/using version control systems (Git, Gitlab)
  • Comfortable working in an engineering lab environment and being hands on with test instrumentation
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with the Ruby programming language
  • Familiarity with RF Test Equipment and RF measurement techniques
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
  • Signal processing and data acquisition techniques

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
