Job description

Hinge is the dating app designed to be deleted
In today's digital world, finding genuine relationships is tougher than ever. At Hinge, we’re on a mission to inspire intimate connection to create a less lonely world. We’re obsessed with understanding our users’ behaviors to help them find love, and our success is defined by one simple metric– setting up great dates. With millions of users across the globe, we’ve become the most trusted way to find a relationship, for all.
About the Role

Backend engineers design, build, operate, and maintain the various cloud services that power Hinge.  You’ll solve complex technical challenges and own a significant portion of the software stack that allows millions of users to find meaningful connections.  You’ll write high-quality code, design reliable systems, and operate the software that you build by taking part in on-call.

As a backend engineer, you’ll also be part of a diverse cross-functional team that includes partners in Product, Data Science, ML, iOS, Android, and Data Engineering.  You’ll have a hand in defining and implementing your team's technical strategy.
