Job Description
Reliability Coordinator manages the Reliability, Condition Monitoring, Inspection, and Backlog strategies for Mobile Equipment Maintenance which are key to reducing Mobile Equipment failures and downtime and having healthy and safer Mobile Equipment in Mine Operations. The Mine Maintenance Reliability Coordinator is also offering technical support for complex projects and for the diagnosis and solution of complex problems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Oversee, coach, and provide training to the members of the Reliability Team to ensure that the Department Strategies (Reliability, Condition Monitoring, Inspection, and Backlog) are performed safely, timely, accurately, and with high quality.
Lead, conduct, coach, and train the Mine Maintenance Team in the root-cause failure analysis methodologies.
Communicate with the Equipment Manufacturers and their technical experts regarding their product issues and repetitive failures to have them mitigated or eliminated when possible.
Provide detailed analysis to support technical decision-making on design and maintenance activities.
Audit inspection activities to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the Mine Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Provides input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact Mine Production
Revise, update, and improve the predictive maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Mining Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader.
High knowledge of mining Mobile Equipment reliability, condition monitoring, inspection, and backlog management.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office user.
Familiar with the use of Maintenance Software like Oracle, SAP, AMT, or Pronto.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to work in Brokopondo on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break
Good communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
If selected, you will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate ("Bewijs van Goed Gedrag"). Please initiate the request at your respective District Commissariat.
