Role Description

Role Description The Workplace Software Architect (Records Management) is responsible for the design and implementation oversight of the Information Asset Management solution, ensuring records management, information governance, retention, disposal, and compliance requirements are effectively delivered across the client environment. The role provides architectural leadership for Microsoft Purview Records Management, AvePoint Opus, and associated information governance technologies, ensuring alignment with the client recordkeeping, compliance, security, and operational requirements. Working closely with business stakeholders, information management teams, compliance specialists, and technical delivery teams, the Workplace Software Architect defines the target-state information governance architecture, metadata model, retention framework, governance controls, records management processes, and information lifecycle management capabilities.You must be an Australian citizen to apply; security clearance is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of the Information Asset Management solution.
• Define records management, retention, disposal, and information lifecycle management capabilities.
• Design and govern Microsoft Purview and AvePoint Opus solutions.
• Define metadata, taxonomy, classification, and information architecture requirements.
• Support implementation of information governance, compliance, and records management controls.
• Ensure alignment with client information management, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead stakeholder workshops, architecture reviews, and design governance activities.
• Develop solution architecture, design documentation, governance artefacts, and implementation guidance.
• Provide technical leadership across records management, information governance, and compliance workstreams.
• Support transition to operations and operational readiness activities.
