Job Summary

 

We are looking for an experienced Capacity Management Engineer to support capacity planning, performance management, infrastructure utilization, and forecasting for enterprise technology environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience analyzing infrastructure and application capacity, identifying performance bottlenecks, and developing capacity plans aligned with business growth and technology requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

* Develop and maintain capacity management and forecasting models for infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and cloud environments.
* Monitor resource utilization, performance trends, and capacity thresholds across enterprise environments.
* Analyze historical and projected workloads to identify capacity requirements and potential bottlenecks.
* Prepare capacity forecasts and recommendations for short-term and long-term technology planning.
* Work with infrastructure, application, database, network, cloud, and architecture teams to understand current and future capacity requirements.
* Conduct performance and capacity analysis and provide recommendations for optimization.
* Establish and maintain capacity dashboards, reports, KPIs, and management metrics.
* Identify capacity risks and proactively recommend remediation plans.
* Support technology refresh, infrastructure expansion, migration, and cloud initiatives from a capacity perspective.
