AI Consultant

Description

We are looking for an AI Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of secure AI solutions in California. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can combine hands-on AI development with a strong understanding of cloud security and regulatory expectations. The role focuses on building practical automation capabilities, guiding discovery efforts, and ensuring AI initiatives align with compliance standards throughout delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions to assess business needs and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and process improvements. Design, build, and deploy AI applications within AWS environments while maintaining strong cloud security practices. Create automated workflows, intelligent agents, and validation processes that support testing, acceptance, and audit readiness. Partner with technical and compliance stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet applicable regulatory and security requirements.

Translate compliance considerations into scalable technical approaches that can be applied across the AI technology stack. Evaluate solution designs for alignment with PCI and related control standards before implementation and release. Document architecture decisions, risk considerations, and operating procedures to support governance and ongoing oversight.

Requirements

3+ years of experience delivering AI or automation solutions in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying cloud-based applications securely.
Working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, and implementation best practices.
Familiarity with PCI or PCI Compliance requirements and their impact on technical solution design.
Experience building automation workflows and supporting process efficiency through intelligent systems.
Ability to work through discovery, gather requirements, and convert business needs into actionable technical plans.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and audit considerations in regulated technology environments.
