Due to continued expansion, we are looking for experienced Industrial / Commercial Gas Service Engineers with Electrical Controls Experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the service, repair, commissioning and maintenance of industrial steam and hot water boilers, burners, combustion equipment, controls and associated boiler-house plant. Full-time and part-time applications will be considered, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers looking for either a permanent full-time role or a more flexible working arrangement. Applications are also welcome from experienced Gas Engineers and Marine Engineers who do not currently meet every aspect of the person specification. Training and development may be provided to help the successful candidate progress into an Industrial Burner / Boiler Service Engineer role. Person Specification Essential Qualifications Full driving licence Relevant commercial/industrial gas qualifications, including: COCN1 ICPN1 CIGA1 CORT1 Desirable Qualifications Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or Engineering Degree CDGA1 TPCP1 / TPCP1A LPG qualifications OFTEC / Oil qualifications 18th Edition Electrical BOAS / BG04 Relevant Health & Safety qualifications Knowledge, Experience & Skills The successful candidate will ideally have: A strong, proven engineering background within the combustion, boiler or industrial engineering sector Previous field-based service engineer experience Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience working with PLC systems, burner management systems and control panels Experience with industrial package burners such as Riello, Cochran, GP, Nu-way, Hamworthy, Saacke, Weishaupt and Dunphy Knowledge of steam, hot water and thermal oil boiler plant Experience with digital combustion control systems Knowledge of boiler-house equipment and associated systems Experience in a customer-facing engineering role Good computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills A logical and analytical approach to fault finding and problem solving Ability to work independently and as part of a team A strong commitment to health and safety Willingness to undertake manufacturer and specialist technical training Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland Flexibility to undertake overtime, weekend work and occasional overnight stays where required Willingness to participate in the company on-call system Ability and willingness to support, train and mentor junior engineers What We Offer £35,000£50,000 basic salary, depending on experience Potential to earn £50,000+ with overtime Full-time and part-time positions considered Annual salary review Company vehicle with private use Company mobile phone Company tablet / laptop Private medical insurance Overtime opportunities Manufacturer and specialist technical training Ongoing professional development Opportunity to progress within a growing specialist industrial engineering company Varied and interesting work across industrial and commercial sites throughout Ireland Apply Now If you are an experienced Industrial Gas, Burner, Boiler or Combustion Engineer looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.
