Job Description

WW+P is an award-winning architecture and urban design practice, part of Egis Group. With studios across London, Manchester, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto and beyond, we deliver city-shaping projects at the intersection of infrastructure, public space and community — including the Melbourne Metro, Cross River Rail, Elizabeth Line stations and Suburban Rail Loop.

Founded in 1985, WestonWilliamson+Partners has grown to over 250 architects, urban designers and planners working across nine studios worldwide. We are proud of our heritage in delivering world-class transport and infrastructure projects, and equally proud of the culture we've built — collaborative, curious and committed to doing things properly.

Join our studio in Sydney as a Architectural Graduate, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver the concept design of a ground breaking nation-wide project. Working directly with the design director, you will be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team within an internationally renowned design practice delivering innovative design solutions for a project of national significance.

You'll be working across all stages of a project — from early concept and stakeholder engagement through to technical development, documentation and delivery. Day to day you'll be collaborating closely with architects, urban designers, engineers and clients across a genuinely multidisciplinary environment. The projects you'll work on are complex, high-profile and deeply connected to the city — and you'll be doing it alongside some of the most experienced transport architects in Australia and globally.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have over 2 years of post-qualification industry experience with an interest to work on transport infrastructure projects. In addition, you will also have:

  • A degree in Architecture
  • Aspirations to progress towards registration
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure or civil architecture, interest in transport sector highly desired
  • Design skills with the ability to work across scales — from precinct-level thinking to detailed resolution
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite - illustrator, photoshop, indesign.
  • An understanding of how great public architecture works in practice — technically, commercially and for the people who use it
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute positively in a fast-paced, design-led studio.

When submitting your CV, please ensure your portfolio of select projects is provided by attachment or through an available link.

We are committed to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we design for, and we actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
