•      10+ years in data platform architecture, data engineering or distributed systems

•      Proven leadership of enterprise-scale cloud migrations involving hundreds of terabytes or petabytes of data

•      Strong experience with:

◦      Databricks

◦      Apache Spark

◦      Apache Kafka

◦      AMPS, MQ, Hadoop or other enterprise messaging systems

◦      AWS cloud services

◦      Large-scale data warehouse or lakehouse platforms

•      Experience migrating data from Vertica, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake or similar platforms

•      Strong software engineering background in:

◦      Java

◦      Python

◦      SQL (any flavor)

◦      Other object-oriented languages

•      Experience designing highly available, scalable distributed systems

•      Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance and operational monitoring

•      Bachelor's degree
