Job Description

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and growing financial services firm , who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their professional and supportive team. As a Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and client-focused financial planning service. You will play a key role in preparing detailed suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring that all advice provided meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters

Conducting detailed product, fund, platform, and provider research

Producing cashflow models and financial planning illustrations

Supporting advisers with complex case analysis and technical queries

Preparing client review packs and annual review documentation

Processing new business applications and ensuring accurate submission

Liaising with product providers, platforms, and clients where required

Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures

Maintaining accurate records and updating CRM / back-office systems

Assisting with audit preparation and file checks

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within financial services

Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning

Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) preferred

Excellent written communication and report-writing skills

High level of attention to detail and strong analytical ability

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively

Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach

Proactive, reliable, and highly motivated
