The Role • Operate heavy machinery to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks. • Drive specialized vehicles to position and organize containers within a busy intermodal yard. • Utilize equipment like cranes, top loaders, and side loaders for precise container handling. • Conduct essential pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks efficiently. • Maintain a secure and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including second shifts, weekends, and holidays. • A strong dedication to safety and meticulous attention to detail in all operations. • Basic communication skills and the ability to be a collaborative team member. • Open availability for scheduled shifts.
