Berman Kia is seeking an experienced, performance-driven Used Car Manager to join our leadership team! 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, including sales, inventory management, pricing, and merchandising.
• Source, evaluate, and purchase pre-owned vehicles for the dealership's inventory.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess condition, mileage, maintenance history, and resale value.
• Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand.
• Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize profitability and minimize aging inventory.
• Coordinate vehicle transportation and logistics, including arranging inspections, appraisals, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive sales, purchasing management, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in automotive appraisal techniques and market valuation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
