Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to lead and govern end-to-end testing for enterprise applications and integrations. The QA Lead will develop test strategies, supervise QA resources, manage requirements traceability, coordinate defect/release activities, and provide clear release-readiness reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead testing activities across applications, integrations, releases, and production readiness.
• Develop test strategy, scope, estimates, schedules, entry/exit criteria, and execution plans.
• Assign and supervise testers, review test deliverables, and enforce QA standards.
• Analyze BRDs, FRs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, APIs, and data mappings.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, test data, expected results, and automation candidates.
• Maintain requirements traceability and test coverage.
• Create and manage Azure DevOps Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases, test runs, evidence, and defects.
• Design and execute functional, regression, smoke, API, integration, system, E2E, UAT, database, and data-pipeline testing.
• Lead defect triage, severity/priority decisions, retesting, and closure.
• Provide management with testing metrics, risks, blockers, coverage, defects, and release-readiness status.
• Review and write automation code when required.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of QA/testing experience in enterprise software environments.
• 2+ years as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or senior QA with formal leadership responsibility.
• Strong hands-on Playwright or Selenium automation experience; Playwright + TypeScript strongly preferred.
• Strong BRD/FR analysis, RTM, requirements traceability, and test coverage experience.
• Strong API testing and SQL/database validation skills.
• Experience supervising testers, reviewing QA artifacts, defect triage, and management reporting.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Data pipeline / ETL validation experience.

Highly Desired

• Playwright + TypeScript framework development or migration from Selenium.
• Reusable fixtures, Page Objects, API clients, test-data factories, and custom reporting.
• Performance-testing exposure and coordination with performance/security testing teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
