Job Description
Responsibilities Program Description: The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The contracts Core Capabilities are: IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support.
Position Description: The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security. Daily. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Work collaboratively with Risk Management stakeholders in the advancement and implementation of process improvements and modernization efforts to automate and/or improve Risk Management decision timelines.
- Provide senior-level support to the senior government leadership in collaboration with other SETAs and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of project reviews and portfolio roadmaps; inform government leads on status and progress of all projects.
- Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials appropriate to the level of the intended audience
- Assist in the development of technical requirements.
- Analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps.
- Develop strategies to comply with privacy and risk management requirements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- BS with 10-12 years of experience, MS with 8-10 years of experience, Ph. D. with 5-7 years of experience
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
- Able to support customer's core hours (0900-1500; Mon - Fri)
- A Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140)

- Systems Engineering (configuration management, requirements management/writing, architecture, interfaces)
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
- Knowledgeability of customer's tools and infrastructure
- Familiarity with customer's IA processes
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
- Experience briefing senior customer personnel
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Familiarity with Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions (ECDS)
- Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
