Description

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new product designs into production.
• Identify and resolve issues within the manufacturing process to maintain quality standards.
• Support the introduction of new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all manufacturing activities.
• Provide technical support and training to production teams.
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components efficiently.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality assurance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.

Job Offer

• £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position in Portsmouth within the manufacturing sector.
