Senior IT Business Analyst

IDR is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves supporting application enhancements and business process improvements within a government agency in the education sector. The position offers a chance to work on critical projects supporting state programs and technology systems.
Position Overview for the Senior IT Business Analyst:

• Responsible for supporting the KOALA application by analyzing business needs and developing system requirements.
• Acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Coordinates system enhancements, testing, documentation, and training related to the application lifecycle.
• Develops and executes test plans, supports user acceptance testing, and manages data requests.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for program operations and application functionality.

Requirements for the Senior IT Business Analyst:

• 10+ years of experience managing IT projects and developing detailed business requirements.
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and translating stakeholder needs into system requirements.
• Experience with application testing, test plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and SQL scripting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
