HVAC Install Quality Control

As our Quality Control HVAC Installer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our HVAC installations meet the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work independently in the field to inspect, troubleshoot, and verify completed installations while helping identify opportunities to improve installation quality.

You will be responsible for:

• Performing quality control inspections on residential HVAC installations to ensure work meets company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable HVAC codes.
• Reviewing completed installations for proper equipment installation, system performance, airflow, refrigerant practices, ductwork, electrical connections, drainage, and overall workmanship.
• Handling installation-related recalls and warranty service calls, identifying root causes, and completing or coordinating lasting solutions.
• Troubleshooting installation issues and documenting findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Conducting on-site audits and inspections to identify installation deficiencies before they impact the customer.
• Working closely with installation QC & manager to communicate quality findings and help ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Identifying recurring installation issues and providing feedback to management to support improved processes, SOPs, and installation standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of inspections, deficiencies, repairs, and quality-control results.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience, with strong hands-on installation knowledge.
• Extensive understanding of HVAC installation practices, manufacturer specifications, and applicable local and national HVAC codes.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently inspect and evaluate HVAC installations with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify quality issues, determine root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to residential job sites as needed.
