Commercial Analyst

We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team on a 12-month parental leave cover, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations. You'll bring strong commercial acumen, analytical expertise, and problem-solving skills to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that optimise trade spend, strengthen pricing and margin outcomes, and support profitable business growth.

This is a full-time role based in Richmond with hybrid flexibility.

Your responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and monthly S&OP, identifying key risks and opportunities
• Manage and monitor trade investment, partnering with Sales to optimise spend and ROI
• Support pricing and margin analysis to drive profitable commercial outcomes
• Partner with marketing on promotional planning and A&CP investment
• Support NPD commercial analysis, including pricing, volume, margin and return
• Turn commercial data into clear insights and recommendations that support better decision making

About You

You're a commercially minded, analytical and enjoy turning numbers into meaningful insights. You'll bring:

• 2+ years' experience in commercial finance, analysis, or similar role ideally within FMCG
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and proven ability to collaborate cross functionally
• Strong organisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with planning systems, Blueshift or Microsoft Navision is advantageous
