For this contractor assignment, you'll join a team tasked with supporting the Environments for our quote and policy system, (Duck Creek), on our Commercial Lines platform. In this hybrid role, you'll support key business initiatives to advance the platform. Your skills will be essential in supporting innovative projects that impact our customers,20 agents, and employees. This engineer will support our Core Auto platform in CLTG.

responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Duck Creek environment management (Production, Dev, QA, etc.)

- New environment setup

- Assignment of slots for code development

- Server management and resource monitoring

- Support for the integrations utilized by Duck Creek across multiple external platforms at Progressive

- Triaging of infrastructure issues

- This is a customer-facing role where you'll be working with Developers, Application Programmers and our Business Teams along with other internal customers to triage and resolve issues that impact our Environments

- Play a key role in upgrading our servers to the latest Windows Server OS that has been approved for use

o We currently have approximately 650 servers on the Core Auto Platform

qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Minimum of 5 years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems.

- {OR} Associate's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math, or other related field of study and minimum of 4 years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures, and operating systems.
