- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Real Estate,Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in commercial property analysis,valuations, capital markets or investment analysis.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including DCF,feasibility and scenario analysis.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian commercial propertymarket and key investment drivers.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience usingproperty modelling and valuation tools such as Forbury, EstateMaster orequivalent platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, written and presentation skills,with the ability to convert data into meaningful commercial insights forinternal stakeholders and clients.
- Confidence communicating with clients, preparingpresentation materials and contributing to client-facing discussions.
We are seeking a commercially astute and highly analytical Analyst to join our Capital Markets team in Melbourne.
Working alongside leading Institutional & Investment Sales professionals, you will provide market-leading analysis, financial modelling and commercial insights that support major property transactions, client appointments and strategic initiatives across the Australian commercial property market.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in high-profile campaigns, working with sophisticated investors, institutional clients and private capital groups while developing your expertise within one of the industry's leading Capital Markets teams.
As an Analyst, you will also have the opportunity to build your client-facing capability by contributing to client meetings, presenting insights and supporting strategic discussions. You'll be trusted to operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing campaign strategy, investment decisions and client outcomes through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market, transaction and financial analysis to support major Capital Markets campaigns and client engagements.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, feasibility and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
- Prepare high-quality investment summaries, pricing analyses, client reports, presentations and briefing materials.
- Present analysis and market insights to internal stakeholders and contribute to client-facing meetings, pitches and campaign updates.
- Provide analytical input into submissions, pitches and client proposals, including market commentary and investment recommendations.
- Partner with Capital Markets professionals to support client appointments, campaign strategy and key transaction decisions.
- Monitor market activity, buyer trends and economic conditions to identify opportunities and deliver actionable commercial insights.
- Support the delivery of complex sales campaigns, including campaign reporting, buyer engagement tracking and data room management.
